Family Friendly As the only paved and pet friendly trail in the park, it offers the opportunity for hiking and biking to those who may be limited elsewhere.

Description

As the only pet friendly trail in the park, the Apgar Bike Trail is a family favorite. A shorter trail, it connects Park Headquarters (just inside the west entrance) to Apgar Village. It's peaceful and flat trail, it's perfect for cycling, hiking, or a short trail run. You'll cross three roads and a horse path, so make sure to stop for oncoming traffic.

Flora & Fauna

The majority of the path takes you through a lodgepole pine forest. You'll often find beargrass along this path earlier in the summer, and even some huckleberries! Keep an eye out for deer and potentially black bears.
