This is closed in the winter, and if the waterfalls are overflowing, you won't be able to pass.

It's a good idea to bring wicking fabrics/shoes, as the waterfall can drench you!

Description

This trail is really nice and worthy of a day hike. From the beginning, the trail follows the shore of the reservoir before passing underneath Hetch Hetchy Dome and across a small drainage. After crossing Tiltill Creek, the trail begins a steady, switchbacking climb to the waterfall.

Once at Rancheria Falls, revel in the beautiful water and enjoy the view!
