Description

This is a great trail if you're in the area of UW-Madison and want to quickly get outside into nature. The trail is flat, mostly goes through a forest, but also goes along the southern shore of Lake Mendota, providing a lot of scenic views of the wide open lake. There are numerous trail segments leading off this path in case one is interested in making a longer trek with more variety.
