Description

This trail is accessible from the main parking lot at the base of the spillway (eastern trailhead) or off the Appaloosa Trail. Starting from the spillway, this trail runs across the basin before heading up to the ridgeline via a stream. Once on the ridge you'll inevitably descend and rise crossing several streams as you make you way west.

This trail is singletrack with several road crossings which normally don't present much difficulty getting across. The trail is muddy in the hollows and has roots and ruts most of the way.
