Description

The trail begins a ways north of Entrance #4 to Red Rocks Amphitheater. This is the west entrance off of Bear Creek Road near the intersection with Titans Road. The unofficial trailhead features a sign noting that this trail is, For hiking only.

The trail starts steep for the first 0.5 miles, alongside some powerline poles. The trail itself is very rocky and is singletrack the entire way. It levels out for a bit of a break but then goes back to a steep incline. At this point, you should still be hiking. However, about 0.25 miles from the top, you start rock scrambling.

From the top, experience the gorgeous views of Mt. Evans to the west and the city of Denver to the east.

Flora & Fauna

Pretty wildflowers in the spring.
