Description

The trail begins from a large paved parking lot. Signage is minimal, just head up the 4x4 dirt road that runs up the valley. This road gains elevation gradually as it heads up the valley. The road passes several old mining structures and has beautiful views of the valley. The windflowers are amazing in late June and July. This road is drivable, but best hiked to access the trails which begin at the old gold mining operation.
