Description

Beginning at the parking lot across from the Anglers Inn, descend toward the canal but turn right onto a gated road. This is the Berma Road. Youll pass some historic features of the Washington Aqueduct.

At approximately 1.30 miles, you can cross over to the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Towpath or continue on Berma Road to the Great falls visitors center.

At either junction, you can turn around and treat Berma Road as an out and back trail or cross over to the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Towpath to circle back to the parking area.
