Warpath ridge flows downhill over 400 feet from O'Shaughnessy Point off of the South Plateau Loop to the Flat Rock trail. The first 1/4 mile is the most difficult part and requires some technical hiking. After that challenging descent, the declines are much easier. This is also where the Bucca Trail branches off to the right. Then at 0.4 miles there is an open area where you can access Mountain Mist and Goat Trail.

From here, things open but there still are some rocky sections. Be aware that markings are non-existent after the trail leaves the state park, leading may hikers to unintentionally hike down Red Lizard Trail at mile 1.3 which is just before the trail ends at the Flat Rock trail.
