Description

The Saddle Trail in Kachemak Bay State Park connects the Glacier Lake Trail and Halibut Cove. Starting from Halibut Cove, you'll have a steep ascent through a number of switchbacks until you reach the top - which has some great views. From there, the trail levels out and wind through the old growth forests until you connect with the Glacier Lake Trail and nearby Grewingk Glacier.
