This area is a hidden gem tucked away in the surrounding residential neighborhood. This singletrack trail parallels a paved access road. It starts at the Aliso Woods and Canyon Ranger Station and leads to Wood Canyon Trail which provides access to the rest of the park.

Trailhead: Exit the I-5 at Alicia Parkway. Go Southwest for 9.7 miles. Turn right onto Awma Rd. The parking area is just across the bridge.
