Family Friendly This loop is short and gentle enough to be doable with the whole family. If you want even less mileage, check out Big Hill Trail #72, A1 Loop.

Description

From the trailhead go towards a fence crossing on the right and go up and over a small bridge. The trail loops through the forest and comes to an open area where A Loop turns left and Big Hill Trail #72, B Loop heads to the right.

Continue through forest and meadow until A Loop meets up with Big Hill Trail #72, D Loop. Do a 180 and head back to the north on cattle and two track and stay to the left to follow a singletrack back into the trees.

To finish, go past the intersection with Big Hill Trail #72, C Loop and rejoin A Loop to the trailhead.

Flora & Fauna

Birch, aspen, pine, deer, possibly cattle.
