Although it continues in both directions, Clearwater Road is closed to the public north of Table Rocks (Farm Road and Table Rocks Trail), and east of Northeast Trail.

Description

Clearwater Road, marked by red blazes, is an abandoned and now unmaintained public road running from points south of Northeast Trail to points north of Farm Road. The most common use for this road is bicycling and access between the aforementioned trails. This old dirt road is in ill-repair, so caution is needed to avoid injuring yourself. Explorers may find a little time to explore the rubble beside the road in this section belying the agricultural history of this part of the Shawangunk Ridge.

Please note that Clearwater Road is closed to the public north of Table Rocks and east of Northeast Trail.
