These are multi-use trails so be mindful of bikers. Horses and motorized vehicles are not allowed. Entrances are gated. The trails are closed during wet conditions.

Description

Although this is designated a mountain bike trail, many trail runners and hikers enjoy it too. This trail is easy with few obstacles, however, over time, some rocks and roots have found their way to the surface creating a little more challenging footing. It is still considered the most gentle, smooth trail of the three at Shawnee Mission Park. Shawnee Mission Park is the largest park in the county and the most visited park in the entire state of Kansas.
