This trail forms a nice loop as it ascends Snowbasin. It's lower trailhead is along Green Pond just south of Green Pond's upper intersection with Needles. Follow this trail up and over a slight rise as it makes its way through forest and open meadow.

After a slightly steeper pitch, the trail will switchback and begin to traverse to the north, eventually reaching its terminus at another junction with Needles. To complete the loop, head down (right) Needles. To summit the mountain, hang a left on Needles and keep climbing!

Wildflowers abound in the spring, aspens aglow in the fall.
