Start off the Interurban Trail in Arroyo Park by heading up the mountain. The trail soon turns into a doubletrack dirt road and climbs with long sweeping switchbacks. The first intersection is with Chuckanut Falls Trail (marked), stay right.

The next intersection is with an access trail from California St, stay left. The next intersection is with the Hemlock Trail (marked) stay right. The next intersection is with the Hush-Hush Trail, stay right. Eventually, the trail will flatten out at a major intersection.

The Chuckanut Ridge Trail will be to your right and the Salal Trail to your left. Continue straight ahead. The trail will now becoming rolling for a couple miles. At the Y-intersection at Lost Lake, stay right (left will take you to Lost Lake and the marked trail will end). Soon you'll begin to climb and will pass the Rock Trail on your right. Continue the climb and go to your right at the top. The trail will now start to drop with long sweeping switchbacks until it passes Chinscraper on your right and ends at a dirt road, Fragrance Lake Road.
