Located in Wharton State Forest, this 1.7 mile trail is marked by a purple trail blaze. The trail contains pine trees and packed sandy sections through the Pine Barrens, with views of the Mullica River along the way.

As you are walking the trail you'll arrive at Beaver Pond. Although this pond may resemble a swamp, it is surrounded by beautiful Pine Barrens flora. Enjoy nature while overlooking this pond on your hike.

The hike is a simple one, filled with scenic views of what the Pine Barrens are made of. This trail is fun, easy and good for any hiking skill level!

Since this trail is located in the Pine Barrens, various flora and fauna can be seen throughout this hike. Birding is a popular activity done by many who walk this trail. Other animals such as deer, birds, rabbits, and other small critters can be seen. Vegetation including, pitcher plants, pine trees, wild blueberries and various other forms of plant life can be found along this trail.
