From the parking area directly across from the restrooms, you'll see a pavilion. The trail starts in the parking area and passes directly to the right of the pavilion as you approach the lake. The trail will soon become self-evident as you begin to walk counter-clockwise around the lake.

The trail starts out smooth, but you'll soon come to some shorts hills with steps and rocky sections. Always stay to the left beside the lake as you'll see various trails heading off to the right.

About a mile into the trail you'll come to a large wide bridge crossing and soon after that you'll see a trailhead to your right that will take you to the Rosario resort. Continue to your left.

The trail will end at a small campground, continue down the road staying to your left to complete a full loop.
