Description

$2 fee to enter McDowell Mountain Regional Park.

This trail transitions from the Old Jeep Trail in the Maricopa County Park and ties into the Prospector Trail and Dixie Mine Trail on the McDowell side.

Start down the dirt road heading west from the Dixie Mine and wonder how in the hell they installed a road on such an incredible grade. Sections have been braced with asphalt and concrete to prevent erosion.

Great views of the surrounding area from the summit!
