Description

This trail starts close to town in amongst the more popular loops.

The trail starts out smooth but once you pass Griffin Butte Connector, the trail will entirely change character going from a smooth singletrack to more of a classic Idaho backcountry trail. There is a nice lung buster about half way. Additionally, there will be some off-camber trail sections. This trail can be loose later in the fall and will become more challenging. Once on the ridge, you'll hike along on a very narrow trail.

This trail is also a great way to create some larger loops in the area and provides access to the Osberg Ridge Trail.
