A short but delightful hike down to the Alpha Fia Tank (a small lake). The hike back up to the parking lot is steep, so make sure you're prepared for the effort.

Aspen Corner to Alpha Tank is a beautiful and very popular trail, especially during the fall colors. From the Snowbowl Road parking area, you'll descend down a rocky and somewhat steep trail through a thick forest. The Arizona trail transects the route just before the vistas open up over a large meadow ringed with aspens. The alpha tank sits near the bottom of the meadow, and the trail ends there. Continue back up the way you came to the parking lot or explore the area while you're down. A short detour ether north or South on the Arizona Trail is an enjoyable addition to the route,
