Family Friendly Scenic walk with small elevation gain

Overview

This is a short trail through woods and meadows to Bismark Lake, with opportunities for spotting unique Arizona wildlife.

Description

As lakes go, Bismark isn't much, but it does hold water during the wet season and attracts wildlife as a result. Watch for elk! Easy connections are possible with the Arizona Trail if you want to make a longer hike. The trail itself climbs gradually and is easy to travel on the smooth singletrack.
