The closest parking is at a pull out on Binder Lake Road right after the park gate. The trail starts across the street from the gated entrance on the south side of Rainbow Drive. Use the small wooden bridge spanning the ditch to access the trail. Go right when you enter the woods.

The trail is best done counter-clockwise, like all trails at Binder. Old trail sections that have been rerouted are blocked by tree limbs and the loop is blazed in red markers. This trail is completely wooded and crosses a few drainage areas that can have water if it has recently rained. It is advised to not use the trail in muddy conditions.
