Because hunting is allowed on this property and because folks were hunting on this property long before you got here to hike today, THESE TRAILS ARE CLOSED ON SATURDAYS FROM THE LAST SATURDAY OF APRIL THROUGH THE LAST SATURDAY OF MAY AND AGAIN ON SATURDAYS FROM THE LAST SATURDAY OF SEPTEMBER THROUGH THE SECOND SATURDAY OF DECEMBER.

Description

Up & Out Loop takes you up through the woods, over a banked wooden bridge and gives you some gnarly drops. Its about a 1.5-mile loop, but you wont be disappointed. Theres an old gravestone dating back to the 1800s. We have part of the trail called The Oven because there is no shade at all. On a nice warm day, youll feel the burn. Get to the top of The Oven and you can hang a left to head back down to the finish line. Head right and youll be hiking The Kitchen Sink Loop.
