    Description

Inspired by Raystown Lake, PA and Kingdom Trails, VT.

The Down & Dirty Loop starts off on an old railroad bed and heads west towards "Down." Keep your head up or you'll miss the quick uphill that takes you on the outskirts of a corn field and a low turn. You'll eventually end up back on the railroad bed before you descend into the "Dirty" part of the Down & Dirty Loop. Take the rest of the trail and head back to the railroad bed.

Up & Out Loop takes you up through the woods and over a banked wooden bridge. Its about a 1.5-mile loop, but you wont be disappointed. Theres an old gravestone dating back to the 1800s along this trail. We have part of the trail called the "Oven" because there is no shade at all. On a nice warm day, youll feel the burn. Get to the top of that and you can hang a left to head back down to the finish line. Head right and youll be hiking The Kitchen Sink Loop.

The Kitchen Sink Loop is longest and most rugged loop. Over 3 miles of up and downhill. This section begins off of the Up & Out Loop, hanging a right and heading up the side of the mountain. It looks horrible, but once you get to the top, it's a casual hike all the way to the 3D climb. Climb that and youll be on your way to some really well thought out trails. Enjoy the wildlife while youre up there.

Climb to the top of the Old Access Road, and make sure you hike the old House Foundation. You'll hit some really smooth trail spots until you get to the old junkyard part. Watch your footing; youre in an old junkyard. You have 1 or 2 more climbs before you hit the descent, and theyre lung busters. Hit those two and it's all downhill from here. Get to the bottom where youre meeting up with the Up & Out Loop, and hike that back to the parking area.
