Overview
Towering above Wengen, Lauternbrunnen, and essentially the rest of Switzerland, this route provides some of the best "bang for your buck" in the entire Jungfrau Region.
Due to its easy nature, this hike can get very crowded, especially in summer months.
Description
After taking the cable car from Wengen, work your way through the crowds north, towards Männlichen proper. This crushed gravel route is easily accessible, albeit a little steep in places.
Once you've reached the Männlichen, absorb the unforgettable views. To the west (and down) you'll see Wengen and Lauterbrunnen. To the south, you'll see the Eiger, Munch, and Jungfrau towering above all else - a sight to behold. On a clear day, you might even be able to see all the way to Interlaken and its two lakes!
Follow the well-signed path to the bizarre "crown" on the ridge, and simply enjoy the views!
