Description

Starting from the paved Bidem Road, Alpiglen winds its way into and out of dense woods and wildflower ensconced meadows as it ascends parallel to the railway line. Approximately halfway through the trail you'll pass through the small town of Alpiglen and its associated train station. Either continue over multitudes of snowmelt fed streams to this trail's terminus or stop to have a bite at the restaurant situated in this mountain oasis.

Be sure to stop and behold the panoramic views of the Eiger's North Face in the multitudes of open meadows - the views are astounding.
