Description

Walk or bike the closed portion of Westside Road (3.8 miles) to the Round Pass trailhead to begin this hike. The route to Lake George is about 1 mile, mostly easy with a gradual incline. The rest of the trail to Gobblers Knob Lookout is much steeper, gaining more than 1,000 feet in about 1 mile.
