Description

Starting from its junction with Westside Road, near the patrol cabin and Denman Falls, the St. Andrews Creek trail heads east. Initially paralleling St. Andrews Creek along its north bank, the trail soon climbs a series of steep, relentless switchbacks to reach the crest of Klapatche Ridge.

Ascend this wooded ridge with St. Andrews creek in the valley to the south and North Puyallup River in the valley to the north. Finally, arrive at the junction with Wonderland Trail and the idyllic Klapatche Park. Here, take in amazing views of Rainier, lounge in the broad meadows and enjoy camping by permit in the woods just above Aurora Lake. This is a truly magical place!
