Description

You can add this nice section of singletrack to the beginning or end of a typical Tiger Mountain hike. The western access point for the trail is off of West Side Road. From the upper parking lot (Discover Pass required), continue past the gate, approximately 1.5 miles west on the gravel road, and look for the trailhead on the right.

The narrow trail ascends initially, borders a small clearing, and then dips back into the forest, contouring the hillside. There are a few rugged sections with roots, some stepped drops, and a semi-steep descent at the eastern end. When you reach the east junction, you can return to the parking lot or continue on the short connector to hook up with Main Tiger Mountain Road.
