Description

The Colonel Bob Trail gains over 4,200 feet in 7.2 miles to the summit of Colonel Bob Peak. The Mulkey Trail Shelter is reached in 4.0 miles. The junction with the Petes Creek Trail #858 is at 5.4 miles. The trail ends at the summit of Colonel Bob.

This trail provides excellent opportunity to view the Olympic temperate rain forest including old-growth stands of Douglas fir, Sitka spruce, western hemlock and western red cedar.
