Description
This enjoyable trail begins at a small parking area on SW Fischer Lane. The trail begins as a paved ADA accessible route that gently climbs to an intersection. Here you can complete a small loop-spur on the official Bristlecone Pine Trail that is mapped as
Bristlecone Pine Spur and
Bristlecone Pine Alternate.
Return here and head north to a nice viewpoint from which you can see the Redwoods. Further along the paved section ends at a picnic area while the main trail becomes dirt. You'll come to the
White Pine Trail before turning east and south. The trail can either cross SW Fischer to hit the
Creek Trail or head back to the parking lot on the
Bristlecone Pine Loop Connector.
Flora & Fauna
You'll hike past snow gum eucalyptus, Himalayan white birch, ginkgo trees, and much more
