Description

Use this trail to make a longer loop between Phelps Lake and Laurance S Rockefeller Preserve. Climbing from Phelps Lake Trail, Boulder Ridge passes David Spalding's gravestone. Once a homesteader in the area, Spalding is known as one of the first ascenders of Grand Teton. Continue east as the trail continues to rise and switchback to the top of a wooded and rocky hill. From clearings near the top you'll catch views of the Teton peaks. Boulder Ridge then undulates through forests and fields on it's way down to meet Woodland Trail and Lake Creek Trail.
