Description

The trail has a dedicated TH with a small amount of parking. The trail is easy to find from the TH and mostly parallels Onahu Creek as you climb up the drainage away from the TH.

It is mostly hard packed singletrack and gets less equestrian use than the neighboring Green Mountain Trail. As a result, the singletrack is more narrow and less prone to being muddy.

There are a couple of steep sections that are short in duration. If you are acclimated to the altitude and are relatively fit, this is an easy trail, otherwise, on the easier side of intermediate.

Lots of up and down and very buggy, wouldn't recommend without long sleeves but beautiful forest and meadows. Onahu Creek site is stunning & secluded 2mi
