Need to Know

Please note that this trail is almost entirely unmarked. The trailhead does not have a map.

Description

From the parking lot, Green Trail heads straight (east), then has the option to go left. This wide, pebble-surfaced track descends into the forest, becoming rockier as it does so. After ~2/3mi, the path swings to the right and arrives at a somewhat overgrown junction.

From this overgrown junction, stay on Green, which eventually takes you to the edge of Bennett's Pond. From here, Green breaks to the right, away from the pond, through a stone wall and undulates to the right when it hits a forest lane. On departing that doubletrack, the trail begins a climb, emerging at the perimeter of an open field of tall grass. The trail keeps to the north-northeast side of the meadow, dips briefly back into tree cover, and arrives at a paved turnaround.
