There is a platform and firepit area where you can take a break to enjoy the views before making your way back to your car.
In addition to the story panels, there is an outdoor play area in the woods along the trail where your child can play. This is a good break in the hike as it is almost 1/2 way from the trailhead.
The trees along the trail showcase beautiful colors in the fall.
