The new Gouter Hut with the Aiguille de Bionnassay in the background.
One of the few open areas on this loop with a great view of Mont Blanc and it's massive glaciers just behind.
Trail to lac noir and typical views... an ibex for company. Disappointing walk with obstructed views almost the entire way. I'd recommend going elsewhere!
Lac noir...... sadly more effort than it was worth!
