In the far distance (left to right) are most of the Kaweah Ridge - Red Kaweah, Black Kaweah, and Kaweah Queen. They are seen above the Kern Kaweah River valley (center) where the Kern Kaweah River plunges down to meet the Kern River (hidden below).
Above Kern Canyon (looking southwest) along Wallace Creek close to where it empties into the Kern River, Kern Canyon walls have shrunk dramatically, however the Kern River is still below, out of sight. Some of the Kaweahs are seen in the far distance.

Evening along the Kern River at Junction Meadow trail camp, a lovely place to spend the night.
Looking southwest down the Wallace Creek valley from the trail (right) cut into the rock, there are dramatic views of Red Spur rising above the 3,000 foot cliffs of Kern Canyon ahead.
