Snow covers every branch of the subalpine spruce and hemlock in the winter.
Only a handful of meadows without brush. Enjoy the respite.
The sun sets over Mount Alpenglow and the Girdwood Valley.
6000' glacier-coated peaks provide Girdwood with its stunning backdrop.
Plenty of moose and bear sign on the trail. Expect to see some wildlife!
