Fluffy seeds on a ground hugging plant seen in October.
Palmer Gulch is a grand expanse. The sheer vastness is a calming influence. Just stand there and soak it all in. To get to this awesome view you'll need to do some off-trail exploring to the rim north of McCarty trail.
An old brush fence must have taken many hours to construct and leaves us wondering about early cowboys that probably lived and camped nearby.
