This is a neat opportunity to see the root systems of trees.
Another perpetually muddy section.
This is one of the crossing points of the flood plane for the H trail over to the concrete low water bridge.
A fantastic shelter to have lunch at before your hike!
West side park shelter and restrooms in the background.
It's interesting to see all these old, twisted trees that have survived hundreds of floods in this area from the Cowskin Creek.
