Natural restoration in progress, 6 years after the landslide. Take care along this part of the trail, please do not step on even the smallest blade of grass.
There are several breaks in the tree line up Twin Sisters Trail with astounding views of Longs Peak. This is 9700', looking 270 degrees SW.

This massive landslide was the result of flooding rains in the summer of 2013. Now it is a natural restoration area.
