Much of the trail is through open, mature woods.
The trail often lives up to its name of Rockhopper.
Closer view of the trailhead. The trail runs along the brush line on private property to the left of the barn and into the woods.

Toward the western end of the trail, the trail narrows into dense undergrowth.
