When the Sawmill Trail meets up with the Hans Loop Trail, there is a bench for you to rest and enjoy the views.
In the spring, flowers bloom along the trail adding wonderful color to the area.
This rock formation sits off to the side of the trail on the right-hand side. Some of the rocks have started to fall away and sit next to the trail.
Due to its proximity to Colorado Springs and some Air Force bases, a jet might interrupt your hike as it flies over.
Birch Trees line the trail as it descends toward the Hans Loop Trail.
Iris can be seen along the trail in the spring time.
The trail drops down the hillside and meets up with the Hans Loop Trail.
