When the Sawmill Trail meets up with the Hans Loop Trail, there is a bench for you to rest and enjoy the views.
Due to its proximity to Colorado Springs and some Air Force bases, a jet might interrupt your hike as it flies over.
This rock formation sits off to the side of the trail on the right-hand side. Some of the rocks have started to fall away and sit next to the trail.
Views to the right of the trail show open fields and groups of pine trees that are common in the monument.
