If you take a minute and turn around, you can get views of the ocean and the Pillar Point Radar Station.
The trail climbs steeply up the hill. Take a minute to enjoy whatever shade you find along the way.
The trail is dirt on the lower portion of the trail and passes through evergreen woods.
As you climb, you can look back and get views of the farm lands and Pillar Point Naval Station along the Pacific Ocean.
