Kendrick Canyon Overlook: about 0.5 miles from Laurel Lake. Kendrick Lakes are on the ledge between the tree branches in the right center. Nance Peak is on the right
Laurel Lake is not great in itself, but 3 miles of somewhat-difficult, off-trail hiking leads to great lakes in Kendrick Canyon.
Lake 5968: A pleasant resting spot as you descend into Kendrick Canyon.
