Nice views of the Continental Divide just east of the Panorama Point deck/picnic area.
The north side of Raccoon - fewer hikers, even fewer mountain bikers.
There's a little spur from Mule Deer to a small parking area off Gap Road, due south of Thorodin Mountain. If you see this on your hike, you'll need to turn around to get back on Mule Deer Trail.
The last mile of the trail starts off a little grim: Mountain Base Road on your left, private property on your right. It eventually leads to a beautiful view of the valley.
The start of the Coyote scramble. It's steep; make sure everyone in your party is okay with this kind of climb.
Near the end you'll be rewarded with a great view of the ridge you climbed at the beginning.
