Water Dog Lake
The best views in the preserve are from the top of the Dusky-footed Woodrat Trail. Views of the South Bay, Edgewood Preserve, and the surrounding communities can be seen from here.
Forest in Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve.
Dogs are allowed on the trail, although they should be on leash. There is a portion of the preserve for dogs to be off leash, but the Dusky-footed Woodrat Trail is outside that zone.
The forests along Cordilleras Creek.
The woods along the Dusky-footed Woodrat Trail are very peaceful.
Views across the preserve are fleeting, but available along the Polly Geraci Trail.
