You get some amazing views of the surrounding mountains from the trail inside the canyon.
As the trail gains elevation, you can see more of the surrounding area. If you hike in the morning, you get the benefit of hiking in the shade as the sun isn't high enough to clear the mountains above you.
The Sonoran Desert spreads out before you, allowing you to see how green it really is.
Cholla sit next to the trail as the mountains rise above the canyon.
The trail departs from the parking lot heading out toward the arch.
