Rocky section.
The first couple miles -- typical terrain.
Mt. Jefferson in the background and the ridgeline you follow to get there.
Down in the low point of the trail.
The first couple miles into the run are mostly downhill.
Some man made erosion control scars after mining, foresting, or fire? Not sure.
